ECM (Electro Commutated Motor) Motor
An electronically commutated motor (ECM) uses a microprocessor controller that sequentially energizes/de-energizes each winding of the stator with power to generate an electric current. The microprocessor uses a closed-loop feedback mechanism to control the magnetic fields more precisely, minimizing the eddy currents and losses. This process allows a brushless electric motor to be used, thus reducing physical contact points within the motor's moving components. To sum it all up, an ECM Motor is a Super Premium Efficient Motor (1E5) that reduces energy consumption and provides better user control.
